Scarlett Johansson and her Canadian boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, are engaged. The 23-year-old actress and the 31-year-old actor have not set a wedding date, said Johansson’s publicist, Marcel Pariseau. The “Nanny Diaries” actress and the “Definitely, Maybe” actor, started dating in March 2007 – a month after Reynolds ended his three-year engagement to singer Alanis Morissette.

Newly engaged Scarlett Johansson flashed a sparkling diamond engagement ring for the first time as she attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday, May 5. The couple now join a list of celebs intending to wed, including Nicole Ritchie and singer Joel Madden, Jessica Alba and boyfriend Cash Warren, singers Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
