This is the 3rd set of GHD's in the house, we now all have them.
I bought a set for myself and younger daughter last year, we resisted due to the price and could see nothing obviously different between these and cheaper brands.
Well the difference is that these are better in so much as the hair does not seem to fry or split and get as damaged as with other ones. The result is that our hair is healthier, shinier and grows longer rather than snapping off.
This version is what I call the 'Precious Princess' Version, they are of course the same as all the others except that they are VERY PRETTY and the old daughter whose bedroom is a pink palace really wanted this set rather than plain black.
So despite the fact I knew full well, rather like buying an easter egg I was paying mainly for the pretty packaging, I got her this version and she loved it, all the more as I don't think she thought I would get her this unnecessarily overpriced decorated version.
So in summary, Can't fault the GHD product, I think the prices for the pretty version is hard to justify except from the obvious pleasure she gets each times she uses them!

| My Boyfriend got me these for my xmas and there Fantastic, there my second set of GHD's and there even better than my first. The travel Hairdryer is Fantastic aswell I am actually going to get rid of my larger hair dryer as the Ghd one dry's my hair quicker which means it takes me less time to get ready in the morning!! My dad bought a set for my mum and she loves them to, she was so Surprised how good her hair looks when she styles it with the straightners, she even went and got a new Hair style. |

| I am delighted with my straightners. I was going to order one of the coloured limited edition ones but then this gift set was only a little more expensive and had in a travel hairdryer (which I have tested but not used properly yet - seemed good!) and a sparkly bag to keep them in. Also came in a sturdy gift box which you can use to store other things if you don't want to keep the straighteners in there. The straighteners work really well and look stylish and elegant. |
